Los Angeles’ oldest ethnic festival celebrates community cultural diversity. Some of the major events include the Queen Coronation, Grand Parade, Taiko Drum Gathering, Tofu Festival, and a car show.
August 16 – Nisei Week Japanese Festival/JACCC Plaza Festival, Nisei Week Rubik’s Cube Open will take place from 9 am – 1 pm, Day-Lee Foods World Gyoza Eating Championship will begin at 3 pm
